1: To hit it hard. To stop kidding around and get serious. When a boxer goes in for the kill he's "pouring it on". To become very focused and effective.

1: A home pour is usually double the alcoholic serving size of a restaurant. For example, restaurant servings of wine are usually 5 to 6 ozs. A home serving would be 10 to 12 ozs.
